Legislative update

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Yesterday, Senator Colby Coash introduced LB 706 in the Nebraska Legislature. The bill states,

"For purposes of Chapter 44 [ed. note this is the Chapter in the Nebraska Revised Statute having to do with Insurance], habilitative services means health care services that help a person keep, learn, or improve skills and functioning for daily living, including applied behavior analysis."

LB 706 is currently co-sponsored by Senators Campbell and Howard. This bill is very significant to the ASD community. Watch these pages for more information as we receive it!
