Acting Classes for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Time: Grades 7-10, 9:00 - 10:00 A.M.
Grades 1-3, 10:30-11:30 A.M.
Location: The Rose Theater, 2001 Farnam St, Omaha, NE
Description: There has been a growing body of evidence supporting the position that the imaginative play involved in theater has a positive affect on individuals on the autism spectrum. The Rose Theater, along with AAP, has provided classes to allow individuals on the spectrum experience acting in a setting that is understanding and accomodating.
Intended Audience: Individuals on the autism spectrum, from grades 1 to 10.
Cost: $30 per participant
