Using Technology with Individuals on the Autism Spectrum
Time: 12:30 - 3:00 P.M.
Location: ESU #7, 2657 44 Avenue, Columbus, NE
Description: This workshop will show participants how to use Voice Thread, iPod Touch, MP3, iMovie, Windows Movie Maker and Power Point as tools to support social skill teaching, priming, video modeling, and enhance IEP team collaboration. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops with them to have hands on experience opportunities.
Intended Audience: Classroom teachers, paraeducators, speech/language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, resource specialists, and early childhood teachers who are seeking introductory structured teaching information to work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
