Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) is an integrated specialty clinic that provides services to children, adolescents and their families for developmental, behavioral, emotional, social and academic problems. These clinics are a cooperative effort between community pediatricians/family practice physicians and the Psychology Department at the Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI), at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha. Faculty and staff from MMI are specially trained in behavioral pediatric psychology. Clinical services are supervised by licensed psychologists. Services are provided in primary care offices to allow for close communication between the medical and behavioral professionals. Contact your physician for a referral to Behavioral Health Clinic.
