TOPSoccer was started in Kearney when a group of individuals saw the need to complete the motto of the US Youth Soccer Association: "The Game for All Kids." The program is successful because of volunteer dedication and parent participation. Each special needs player receives one-on-one attention at all times from a middle school, high school, or college-age volunteer. Each skill or game is adapted to each child's special need and every child participates at the level that they are able. The team meets twice a week for 9 to 10 weeks, for 60 to 90 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Spring season begins early May. Fall season begins after Labor Day week.
