PEP-Parents Encouraging Parents is a unique, parent-run statewide conference sponsored and funded by the Nebraska Departmetn of Edcuation.  Office of Special Education, in collaboration with Educational Service Unit #16.  The PEP Conference benefits Nebraska parents who are raising a child with a verified disability.  The child with the disability must have an active IEP or IFSP.
One goal of the conference is to provide information about parenting and educating children with disabilities while encouraging parents to share their feelings and experiences.  Another objective is to model how parents work with the professionals who are educating and supporting their children to create positive parent-school partnerships.
